It looks better on my dressform than me...I'm thinking of chopping of my arms, because that's the problem...

Here is my latest knitting project. It's an iPod sock for Ed's iPod mini...it matches :)

I made it for Ed because my regular plain white (older) iPod doesn't need a sock, it has a holder already. Plus, I didn't like the pink, and my Pod would have to have a pink sock :)

It didn't take long at all to make, it's a basic 2x2 rib, which is BEYOND easy. Apple sells a pack of socks, but they aren't nearly as nice as the one that I made! I think Ed likes it, but if he doesn't that's just too gosh darn bad, because he's stuck with it now!

For those of you who don't know (though I can't imagine there are many) the iTrip is attached to the top (it doesn't come with it). It makes it so we can listen to stuff in the Escape through the radio.

I really love knitting. I can't think of much that I like to do more than knit. I have so many things that I want to knit. Now, I have to go buy some cheap (gasp!) acrylic yarn to make these mittens I found in a magazine. I'm not a fan of acrylic....it often feels sticky to me...but it's cheap, and I'm not sure about the pattern in the project, so cheap works for me (especially with the lack of employment, therefore MAJOR cheapskateness on my part!)

I'm still not interesting. The most interesting thing I did today was paint my toenails "sunset surprise." It's a pretty color though.

We watched War of the Worlds last night...at home...it was BAD. It was just awful. This could be because I think Tom Cruise is one of the biggest morons walking the planet right now, but it was seriously stupid. Ask Anna...she watched it too.

I don't understand what the big deal with Grand Theft Auto is...do people not understand that an "M" rating means that it is not appropriate for ANYONE under the age of 17. People just don't seem to get that even though it's a popular game, they shouldn't be letting their children play it, and so what if it has a hidden sex scene. An "AO" rating means no one under 18...what's the big deal, one stinking year.
Some grandmother is suing Rockstar over the game becuase she bought it for her 14 year old grandson (while it was rated M mind you) and she didn't know about these hidden sex scenes, so she's mad. Of course, she wasn't supposed to be buying an M game for someone under 17 anyway...grrr....

I REALLY wish I had some interesting stories to share, but unfortunately I've discovered that I'm really uninteresting...

I went for a walk today...took the pod with me and listened to part of a book on tape. It's not bad. It's narrated by Mario Cantone. It stinks because it's the abridged version, and I hate getting abridged versions of books because since Ed has a subscription to audible.com, I figure I'll get the most for his money. When I got this book, it didn't have an unabridged version, of course now it does, but such is my life!

So...I've been laid off for a week, and about two days later, I was bored out of my mind!! I need to find a job....
